Assessment of the Possibility of Hydrometallurgical Processing of Low-Grade Ores in the Oxidation Zone of the Malmyzh Cu-Au Porphyry Deposit

The geochemical features of the ores present in oxidation zone gold-copper Malmyzh mineral deposit are characterized. This is located Nanaian region Khabarovsk Territory Russian Federation, and a technological assessment was carried out. initial gold content oxidized ore 0.1–1.2 ppm, leachability from different size fractions by hot cyanide revealed fact that not refractory characterized increased consumption. results demonstrated high fine fractions. Different leaching reagents were applied for testing. These used both oxidative pretreatment process. Activation solutions out electrolysis UV radiation. reagent combinations tested laboratory with highest recovery (94%) provided chloride system peroxide-sulfuric ore. same combination resulted 91–94% during column crushed (−10 mm)
